As the founder of Pigeon Solar Panels, I’ve spent over 10 years cleaning and protecting solar panels, and our team now looks after homes across Warrington and the surrounding area.
We clean with pure water rather than harsh chemicals, which can damage panels and void your warranty, and we can pest proof your solar panel array so pigeons can’t nest underneath and damage the panels or cables.
Warrington has a huge number of newer estates in Birchwood, Westbrook and Great Sankey, many with solar on the roof, plus business parks near the M6 and M62. Motorway grime settles on the glass, and pigeons spread quickly between rooftops on busy estates.
We clean with deionised water and fit mesh or SolaSkirt before pigeons settle in. Businesses with larger roofs can ask about our commercial solar cleaning.
Areas we cover near Warrington: Great Sankey, Birchwood, Lymm, Stockton Heath, Penketh, Culcheth.

Bird proofing prevents pigeons and other birds from nesting under your solar panels, which can cause damage to the panels and cables, leading to potential system failures and costly repairs.
