Nano coating is an absolute essential if you want to keep solar panels performing for many years and reduce the need for lots of maintenance. Most solar panels come with a nano coating already applied at the factory but over time this barrier deteriorates and requires re-applying. I would recommend you have a new coat of nano coating applied at least every 4-5 years.

What is SOlar Panel Nano Coating?

The surface of solar panels is often coated with an very thin layer called nano coating. This coating makes the panels hydrophobic (water-repellent) and dust-repellent, this improves the panels’ longevity and efficiency.

Essentially, Nano Coating prevents water, dirt, and other impurities from sticking to the panel’s surface and building up, it uses the rainwater to wash most of this off ensuring that they remain clean and operational for longer periods. Protecting the panels but also reducing the need for continuous maintenance.
